DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A man wanted out of Texas was captured this week in Pike County after a chase through the forest.
According to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Blake Chilla was captured by the PCSO Special Response Team in the woods of the 7000 block of County Road 2290 on Tuesday, November 25.
Chilla was wanted out of Harris County, Texas, for an alleged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He fled to Pike County last week with his girlfriend, the PCSO says.
During an investigation, deputies made multiple attempts to locate Chilla and found where he was staying. On Tuesday, a Black Audi sedan, a vehicle Chilla had been seen driving, was spotted by deputies, who pulled the car over and found Chilla’s girlfriend behind the wheel, according to the PCSO…
