FBI searching for bank robber at the University of Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) — The FBI is searching for a man who allegedly robbed a credit union on the University of Houston campus last month.

The robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at the TDECU location at 4455 University Drive. The suspect entered the bank and pulled out a handgun, then handed a teller a note demanding cash, the FBI and UH police said.

After the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, he left the bank on foot. No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a Black man in his late 20s to early 30s, around 6-foot-2 tall with a medium build and a goatee. He wore a black Houston Astros hat, a black hoodie, white shoes and carried a large black Puma bag…
