Jury convicts man on trial in McDonald’s shooting of civil lawyer after 20 minutes

A jury on Wednesday found a Houston man guilty of killing a lawyer during a 2024 shooting at a McDonald’s restaurant.

Jurors took 20 minutes to reach their verdict in the murder case against Anthony Landry, who was accused of killing Jeffrey Limmer, a 46-year-old lawyer who intervened in Landry’s dispute with fast food workers over a botched double Filet-O-Fish order.
