After the historic Conroe Community Cemetery reached a maintenance phase with its restoration, the volunteers leading that cleanup are now turning their attention to a different historic Black cemetery.
Earlier this year, the 133-year-old historic Conroe Community Cemetery received a Texas Historical Commission marker after nearly a decade of volunteers reviving the once-overgrown cemetery.
