A chase suspect faces multiple charges after authorities said he led officers on three chases throughout different parts of the city before running into a home on Tuesday, the Houston Police Department said.
The situation unfolded in the northeast part of Houston at about 7:10 a.m. HPD officers were dispatched to a gas station on IH-69 Eastex and Crosstimbers, where they learned a man had been threatened by another man with a 2×4 piece of wood, and his vehicle was stolen.
Officers began searching for the victim’s vehicle and initially found it in the northeast part of the city, but after a short chase, they lost sight of the suspect. Shortly after, the vehicle was found in a central part of town, prompting a second chase, but the suspect got away.
