U.S. and Mexican immigration announce ‘Se Busca’ campaign targeting known wanted criminals

DEL RIO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in collaboration with Mexican law enforcement in Coahuila, has unveiled new criminal targets for the “Se Busca Información” initiative.

Announced during a press briefing at Amistad Dam on Dec. 16, this initiative aims to encourage the public on both sides of the border to anonymously report information about dangerous, wanted criminals from both Mexico and the United States.

The public can report information confidentially through the WhatsApp application or by calling 830-313-4557. This phone line is operational 24 hours a day, connecting directly to the Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector call center. Information gathered is shared with law enforcement agencies in both countries…
