Texas woman serving 60 years recounts killing of girlfriend’s mother on ‘Snapped: Behind Bars’

A Texas woman serving a 60-year sentence for murder is sharing her side of the story on the latest season of “Snapped: Behind Bars.”

Rebecca Keller, who was at the center of a 2012 murder plot, opens up for the first time about the night she fatally stabbed her than-girlfriend’s mother, Mary Ann Murphy. Thirteen years after the crime, Keller reflects on the events that led to the killing and the regret she carries today.

Keller and her girlfriend at the time, Keri Murphy, were arrested in Oct. 2012 and charged in the murder. Keller later pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. Murphy accepted a plea deal and received a 30-year sentence for her role in her mother’s death…
