A 27-year-old convicted felon is accused of turning a routine red light on FM 1960 into a nightmare for an 84-year-old driver, records show. Deputies say the man climbed into the victim’s car while it was stopped, assaulted the senior and took off with the victim’s wallet. The suspect, identified in records as Lade Harrison, is still wanted on a felony charge tied to the December incident.
Phone left at the scene led investigators
According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office records, deputies found a cell phone on the passenger-side floorboard that was still lit up with a screenshot of an Instagram account bearing the suspect’s name.
