A long-awaited project, backed by nearly $30 million in newly approved funding, will soon tear into one of Houston’s busiest roads.
The project will reconstruct the drainage system along Chimney Rock from U.S. 59 all the way to Westheimer Road, Lesley Briones, Harris County Precinct 4 commissioner, said. Detention drainage will also be built in the nearby Anderson Park.
