A Union Pacific train struck and killed a man who trespassed onto the railroad tracks in Humble Tuesday morning, according to the company.
The train collided with the person at about 12:30 a.m. near N Railroad Avenue and W 1st Street, Union Pacific spokesperson Kristen South said. The train crew was not injured but witnessed the collision, according to South.
The victim was a man who was resting his head on the rail of the train tracks, Humble police Lt. Jack Burt said. No further information about the victim’s identity was available yet…
