The extension of Old Conroe Road is back on track eight months after city officials in May abandoned the now-$221-million project to divert funds to much-needed water infrastructure.
Council members on Thursday approved a deal to transfer the project to Montgomery County, including the rights-of-way purchased by the city and the engineering documents.
