Houston-area officials urged caution on roads and advised against driving if possible, as icy conditions persisted Monday after the winter storm. At least 13 highways around the region were still covered with ice.
Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough said Monday morning that he had no information about roads being closed. However, elevated surfaces such as overpasses or bridges may be covered with ice.
