UPDATE | 7 dead, 1 injured in Maine plane crash; plane linked to Houston law firm

BANGOR, Maine — We’re learning new information about a plane crash in Maine that involved an aircraft linked to a Houston law firm. We now know multiple people were killed.

The crash happened at Bangor International Airport just before 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday and involved a Bombardier Challenger 650, a wide-bodied business jet typically configured to carry between nine and 11 passengers, the FAA said.

At a news conference Monday morning, Bangor airport director Jose Saavedra didn’t give specifics of the people onboard the flight, but according to an FAA report, seven people were killed and one person injured…
