One of the biggest changes for locals: Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen is leaving Market Street after roughly 15 years and moving to a larger space on Research Forest Drive. State filings show a January opening at the new location. The move was documented by the Houston Chronicle, which cited the restaurant’s own announcement and Texas licensing records.
There are other shake-ups too. As reported by Community Impact, L’Occitane has relocated from Market Street to The Woodlands Mall, and ergonomic retailer Relax the Back shuttered its Market Street shop in late January. Taken together, those moves underline a steady, visible churn across the center.
