CONROE, Texas — A 72-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a pickup truck at a Conroe intersection, according to the Conroe Police Department.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at approximately 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Village Blvd. and Town Park Drive. Officers responded to the crash involving a single pickup truck and a pedestrian, identified as 72-year-old Kate Autry, of Conroe, Texas.
Immediately following the collision, the driver of the pickup truck and several bystanders attempted life-saving measures on Mrs. Autry.
