CONROE, Texas — A 28-year-old Conroe resident died in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, according to the Conroe Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Loop 336 East at approximately 6:48 a.m. after receiving reports of a major crash involving multiple vehicles. Upon arrival, they found the driver of a Mazda passenger car severely injured and unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts by the Conroe Fire Department and EMS personnel, the driver, identified as Roylin Cocon Morales, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Conroe Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit’s preliminary investigation revealed that the Mazda was traveling eastbound when it struck the corner of a mobile home being towed by a westbound truck tractor. The Mazda then collided with two additional westbound vehicles before coming to rest against a guardrail. No other individuals were injured in the crash…
