Houston saw its rainiest day since October over the weekend as storms dropped more than 2 inches of rain across parts of Southeast Texas.
Bush Intercontinental Airport recorded 2.29 inches of rain Saturday, setting a record for the date and marking the first time since October the city has received at least 2 inches of rain in a single day.
The soaking rain offered some much-needed relief after a dry stretch that has allowed for severe and extreme drought conditions to develop. But the unsettled weather pattern isn’t finished yet…
