Also who cares? Houston had to play Purdue in Indianapolis in the Sweet 16 last year when they were the 1 seed. You know who doesn’t care? Brad Underwood. I love that man, he’s an elite coach, says whatever is on his mind and won’t sit here and bitch about having to play in Houston. He drove a van! He drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona. That sounds fucking miserable and boring, but he did it. So if he has to play in Houston, Brad will get on his hands and knees to do just that.
I do think some of this gets overvalued. Florida just lost in Tampa. Here’s the thing. Teams win games, fanbases will travel and we’re talking about 4 teams still sitting there. That arena is going to be filled with Iowa and Nebraska fans chugging beers. I do wish we could move that game to Chicago where it belongs…
