Eastern NC task force nabs Texas driver near Greenville with nearly 20 lbs of cocaine clad with Coca-Cola logos, SBI says

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — An eastern North Carolina drug task force stopped a Texas driver just outside Greenville and discovered nearly 20 pounds of cocaine this week, officials said Friday.

The bust, which found the cocaine wrapped in Coca-Cola packaging, happened Wednesday in the area of U.S. 264 and the N.C. 11 Bypass just west of Greenville, according to a Friday afternoon North Carolina SBI news release.
