Montgomery County moves ahead with plans for new $250 million courthouse in Conroe

Montgomery County is proceeding with plans to construct a new $250 million, seven-story courthouse on county-owned land in downtown Conroe, including space for a new tax office.

During a regular meeting on Thursday, commissioners approved the search for an architect to develop construction plans for the new facility that would be located near the Alan B. Sadler Commissioner’s Court Building on North Thompson Street.
