It took Casey Sade Archield nine tries to pass her teacher certification exam. But she didn’t give up on teaching, and in 2015, she finally passed the exam.
Now she teaches third-grade math at Pat Reynolds Elementary in Spring ISD — teaching fractions with candy bars and math symbols with dance moves — and is getting communitywide recognition for her work.
