Federal prosecutors have expanded their case against a former Houston urban park ranger who in 2024 was accused of using his position to detain, extort and sexually assault people in city parks.
The ranger, Joey Ellis, targeted victims as far back as 2023, the Justice Department said in a new indictment unsealed Tuesday.
