SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Two bridges built in the 1960s in Springfield have new weight limits imposed after recent inspections by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Vehicles traveling on Kansas Expressway over Interstate 44 are limited to 35 tons for single-unit vehicles and 50 tons for combination vehicles, including tractor-trailer units.
