Man Falls 80-Feet From Bridge, Rescued From Lake Of The Ozarks

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A man was rescued from the water early Tuesday morning after reportedly jumping off the Lake of the Ozark Community Bridge, according to a dispatch report.

Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division responded at 3:20 a.m., June 9, after receiving a report that a male subject had entered the water near the Highway MM bridge close to the Lake Ozark side.

Units with the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District found the man in “obvious distress” after falling about 80-feet into the water, according to a press release. They rescued him with assistance from Water Patrol and began immediate medical care aboard a fireboat…
