SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A new assessment of Springfield’s four open outdoor pools found that some facilities are showing their age.
The report covered Fassnight, Silver Springs, Meador, and the McGee-McGregor Wading Pool. Some of the pools showed deteriorating amenities, and several areas were rated poor or very poor.
One poolgoer said the facilities look run down, with visible rust, and described one pool as feeling more like a “historical type of pool.”…
