A Poplar Bluff, Missouri, woman was charged with DUI, along with several other charges, after a traffic stop with two children in the vehicle on Clinic Drive on June 19th.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Laura Preston for reckless driving and running a red light.
During the stop, deputies say they found a 6-year-old and a 7-year-old were in a makeshift bed made out of a pool float in the rear passenger seat, an alcoholic beverage container in a cup holder, a glass smoking pipe containing suspected meth, along with a suspected marijuana blunt in Preston’s pocket…
