SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department is conducting increased crosswalk enforcement this week at the High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal location on north Glenstone Avenue, just north of Kearney Street.
This comes as six pedestrian deaths have been reported this year.
