SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Fireworks sellers in the Springfield area say the Fourth of July rush is already underway, with customers spending more and seeking larger displays ahead of the nation’s 250th birthday.
Bigger purchases, more restocking trips
At Crazy Cheap Fireworks, owner Adam Towe said sales are up compared to previous years, with more customer traffic, larger purchases, and several restocking trips already completed.
Towe said customers are not just looking for small fireworks — they are asking for louder, bigger items to build a full backyard show.
“Almost everyone that comes in says they’re going big,” Towe said. “‘Where’s the big stuff? I want the loud stuff.’”…
