City Utilities crews work to repair water main break in northeast Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) -City Utilities crews are actively working to repair a water main break in northeast Springfield.

According to City Utilities of Springfield, crews responded to a water main break near Blaine Street and Glenstone Avenue on Saturday.

CU says no boil water advisory is required at this time, and the water is safe to drink while crews make repairs.

However, some customers in northeast Springfield may notice lingering cloudy or discolored water. If you see this, CU says you can clear the discoloration by flushing your faucet for 10–15 minutes. If the water doesn’t clear up, CU asks you to call 417‑863‑9000…
