BATTLEFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A third person has been charged in connection with a New Year’s Day home invasion and shooting in Battlefield, as one of the other suspects has pleaded guilty.
According to court records, police went to a house on West Gardenia Drive in Battlefield for a shooting. They found a woman who had been shot in the stomach. Investigators say two men in ski masks demanded money, then shot her.
Lakareon Lang of Nixa has been charged in connection with the crime. According to court records, investigators believe he helped come up with the plan and drove the getaway car. He has pleaded not guilty…
