Springfield restaurant adds lunch to its menu
Cellar + Plate, 2916 S. Lone Pine Ave., will soon be serving up lunch, according to a Facebook post.
The restaurant hasn’t yet disclosed what its lunch hours will be, but starting Sept. 15 it will be offering up sandwiches, salads, flatbreads and dips in the middle of the day. Guest will be able to dine in or order online for pickup.
Mary Guccione opened the wine bar in December 2016, according to News-Leader reporting, which at the time offered a small plate menu. In 2019, Springfield Business Journal reported that restaurateurs Shawn Kraft and Johnson Tan purchased the business. Current owner Sunshine Hubbard has run the restaurant since May 2021, according to her Facebook page.
A chance for a free treat on Sept. 15
Nothing Bundt Cakes is offering the first 300 in-person guests at each bakery a free personal-sized confetti-flavored Bundt cake on Sept. 15 for its “first-ever National Bring the Joy Day,” according to a news release. The Springfield location is at 2906 S. Glenstone Ave. and opens at 9 a.m…
