A 66-year-old Nixa man died Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash on Route M in Stone County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, on Route M, about three miles south of Nixa.
According to the Highway Patrol, an 85-year-old Nixa man was driving a 2012 Toyota Tundra west when he made a left turn into the path of an eastbound 2010 BMW R1200R. The Highway Patrol reported the 66-year-old BMW rider attempted to avoid the collision. The motorcycle overturned and slid into the Toyota Tundra.
