SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A child was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Springfield.
According to the Springfield Police Department, the crash happened Monday afternoon on N. Hillcrest Ave. just north of W. Chestnut St.
Police said two children were playing when they ran across Hillcrest. A car headed north swerved to avoid them, but another vehicle going south hit one of the kids…
