A Springfield man died, and an Arkansas man sustained minor injuries Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 5 in Laclede County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, on Highway 5 just north of Greenfield Road.
The Highway Patrol reported a 49-year-old Springfield man was driving a 2021 Kia Sorento southbound when the Kia crossed the center of the roadway and collided with a northbound 2021 Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 58-year-old Pine Bluff, Arkansas, man.
