SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Many people turn to social media to rehome a pet, but shelters in our area are asking you to reconsider that and look into ways to keep your four-legged family member because of the rising number of animals already in shelters.
“Before considering rehoming a pet, I think it’s important that you talk through that process with someone in a shelter; there are always resources available,” said Annie Burk, the adoption center manager at C.A.R.E Animal Rescue.
