Sheriff increases patrols at Lindenlure after community concerns

LINDEN, Mo. (KY3) — The Christian County Sheriff’s Office says it is increasing patrols at Lindenlure after hearing community concerns.

Sheriff Brad Cole said the issue is weekend crowding and blocked roads, not reports of drugs or violent crime.

The sheriff’s office posted on social media that it was “aware of what’s happening” at Lindenlure and was increasing patrols. The post did not explain what the concerns were.

Cole later said the concern is weekend parking and cars blocking Canyon Road.
