HOLT COUNTY, MO — Three people were injured in a crash on Interstate 29 southbound Thursday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 1:43 a.m. at the 80.6 mile marker just three miles south of Mound City. The crash occurred as a 2025 Freightliner suffered a mechanical failure causing the truck to travel off the road. The truck then began to skid and returned to the roadway, while its towed unit jackknifed and overturned causing it to block both lanes. Then, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala drove into the towed unit…
