SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – On October 9, KY3 Meteorologist Ron Hearst will retire from the First Alert Weather team.
Hearst has been with the Springfield station since 1993. Earlier in his career, he worked at KSPR for several years.
Known throughout the Ozarks for his knowledge of the area, Hearst has always been able to tell viewers exactly where a storm was using known landmarks such as buildings, schools, even individual homes or a popular tree.
