Right now, somewhere in Springfield, Missouri, there’s a museum full of rare and incredible automobiles that most people in this state have never visited, and that situation needs to change immediately.
The Route 66 Car Museum on West College Street is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a secret, except the secret is painted in black and yellow and has a checkered roofline that you can probably see from space.
It’s not exactly hiding.
But somehow, it remains one of the most underappreciated attractions in the entire state of Missouri, and that’s a genuine shame…
