SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Springfield-Branson National Airport cut the ribbon on $35 million in improvements to the airport over the last 18 months.
“The flooring replacement project was a long process, which took several years from identifying the need to finishing the project,” said Schaumburg, airport director. “This project is for all of us – for a community and airport that deserve so much good. We strive to be great, because Southwest Missouri deserves nothing less.”
New visitor center unveiled
In addition to marking the end of the 13-month, $4.5 million flooring replacement project, Visit Springfield celebrated the completion of a new Visitor Information Center.
