Former Springfield bank relationship manager pleads guilty to wire fraud

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -.A former Springfield banker entered a guilty plea to wire fraud.

Federal authorities indicted Connie Gold in August on one count of wire fraud. She pleaded guilty on September 30. No sentencing date has been set.

Investigators say Gold was a relationship manager for The Bank. Between May 2021 and September 2024, investigators say Gold stole at least $953,311.34 by directing tellers to make unauthorized cash withdrawals from customer accounts and by manipulating or forging lines of credit…
