Springfield, MO – A Flood Watch remains in effect across portions of Missouri through Thursday, Oct. 15, as additional rounds of thunderstorms threaten to produce heavy rainfall, localized flash flooding and potentially hazardous overnight driving conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, Missouri, an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected along and north of Interstate 44 through Wednesday night, with isolated locations potentially receiving up to 3 inches where heavier thunderstorms repeatedly develop.
