Missouri State University students and Springfield community members gathered at Carrington Hall on Jan. 19 to call for a cease-fire in Gaza and a free Palestine. Organized by the Springfield Young Communist League, the protest included attendees from student organizations such as MSU Advocacy and Alliance, Drury Black United Independent Collegiate, MSU Melaqueer, MO Students for Change, MSU NAACP, MSU Students for Justice in Palestine, the Party for Socialism and Liberation in Springfield and Ekklesia.
