Springfield group begins its annual count of the homeless

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The 2024 Everyone Counts Campaign to end homelessness begins Wednesday night. The Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness will conduct both a sheltered and unsheltered count. Unsheltered surveys will be conducted the night of January 24 and the following day, January 25. This brief survey asks basic questions about unsheltered homeless persons, is anonymous, and is used to bring funding for housing to our community. Questions include demographic information, length of time experiencing homelessness, veteran status, and where they stayed the night.
