SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department (SPD) is investigating a stabbing that took place at the 2000 block of South Florence Avenue Saturday morning.
One man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while another man in the altercation was arrested for assault.
According to the SPD, they received a report of the assault that was happening on South Florence near National Avenue at 10:20 a.m. The incident occurred during a dispute between multiple people who reportedly knew each other.
