Sunday, January 28: Finally! Sunshine returns to the Ozarks

After a week of foggy and soggy weather, we will finally start to put all of that behind us. This morning will start the same as every day this week has… with foggy and cloudy conditions.

Thankfully, we will start to clear everything out for good once we get into the afternoon. Cloud cover will erode from South to North and by the time sunset arrives, the Ozarks will finally have sunshine return.

Temperatures will be nicer today than what we experienced yesterday with highs in the mid-40s. A pattern shift happens on Sunday. Yes, we will be shaking all of this soggy weather, as well as, opening the door for much warmer temps to flood in.

Highs on Monday will be in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine. An upper-atmospheric ridge will keep us locked into a drier and warmer pattern for the work week. Every day this work week has the potential to witness highs in the 50s with a fair amount of sunshine.

This ridging pattern will break down towards the end of the week with average temperatures and precipitation chances to follow.
