Pedestrian hit in Fordland crash on U.S. Highway 60

WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — A pedestrian was injured during a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 60 in Fordland at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash report says that 39-year-old Ryan O’Bryan of Chinquapin, North Carolina lost control of her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt on the eastbound icy road and slid left off the roadway into the median. Her vehicle struck 38-year-old Kent Boydstun II of Springfield in the median and then struck a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 23-year-old Kinley Collins heading east.

Boydstun was taken by an ambulance to the Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. O’Bryan and Collins were not injured in the crash but both of their vehicles received extensive damage.
