The time capsule contained sports cards, action figures, the label from a package of smoked sausages, and a Pog and slammer
A Missouri man has gone viral after sharing the contents of a time capsule he found in a crawl space in his newly purchased home.
Stephen Graff took to Threads to share pictures of the coffee can time capsule , left there in 1994 by a 12-year-old boy, and what it contained.
Graff even revealed that, with help from the internet, he managed to locate the boy behind the time capsule, who is now a 42-year-old man.
Graff mailed the capsule’s contents — including sports cards, action figures, the label from a package of smoked sausages, and a Pog and slammer — to their original owner.
Nathan Headden was living in Springfield, Missouri, in 1994 when he assembled the time capsule. The family ended up moving six months later.
The capsule also included a letter from Nathan, describing his siblings and his parents. It came with a request that, if found prior to 2010, it be wrapped back up and placed back in the crawl space.
