SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A three-car crash is stopping some lanes of traffic on Chestnut Expressway between Glenstone Avenue and Fremont Avenue early Tuesday afternoon.
According to OzarksTraffic, the crash occurred at 11:50 a.m. just before the intersection of Chestnut Expressway and Fremont Avenue.
The left eastbound lane of Chestnut Expressway and the left westbound lane of Chestnut Expressway are closed to traffic, and traffic in the right lanes is moving slowly.
Emergency responders are at the scene directing traffic.
The Springfield Police Department (SPD) said one person was taken to the hospital to be checked out. No one else was hurt.
