The Mt. Vernon Lady Mt’neers lost their only game of the week to Big 8 frontrunner Marshfield, Thursday night, 71-24. The Lady Jays have a formidable two-headed beast in seniors Lauren Luebbert and Abby McBride. Luebbert got her 11th point of the opening quarter near the buzzer to push Marshfield to 16-4 at the first break.
